COLD OPEN | Healthy Moment: Richard Kind and Snuffy explain how covering your mouth when coughing and covering your nose or snuffle when sneezing, can prevent germs from spreading. |

SCENE | The scene starts off with three girls dressed as ballerinas doing a short dance near the yard. When they are finished they leave as Snuffy makes his way to the yard, wearing a large fluffy white tutu and matching hat. Snuffy explains that he is pretending to be a cloud, and his costume was made by his mommy as part of a Snufflegarden play called "A Thousand Clouds." |

For a brief moment Snuffy longingly looks at the sky and wants to be a real cloud, wondering how he could get up there. He tries jumping, but that only shakes the ground. |

Nearby, the Count watches as Oscar ties a balloon around Slimey (who makes sure to wear his little crash helmet) so that he can have a ride and float around in the air. Watching Slimey float makes Snuffy believe that a balloon will be enough to get him airborne. He realizes he doesn't have any money, but the Count suggests that he can make a wish; "It worked for Cinderella," the Count explains. |

Snuffy wishes for a balloon, and out of nowhere the Fairy Balloon Person (Richard Kind) pops in to grant his wish. Since Snuffy is so big the Fairy Balloon person does some calculations on his balloon wand and estimates that it will take 20, maybe 40 balloons to lift him up. With a chant of his magic words ("Nov Schmoz Kapop!") he adds groups of five balloons as they are magically tied around Snuffy while the Count delights in counting by fives. When they get to 20 balloons Snuffy remains grounded, but in trying to conjure more the Fairy Balloon Person's wand short circuits and he leaves to get more balloons (as well as a new wand). |

SCENE cont'd |
Big Bird and the Birdketeers pass through and are curious to what's going on. "Call me a dreamer, Bird, but I'm seriously considering being a cloud in the sky as a career," Snuffy says, and Big Bird says he'll miss him. Snuffy says that even as a cloud, he'll always be there for him and sings, "When I Am a Cloud in the Sky" while doing a soft shoe dance. |

SCENE cont'd |
The Fairy Balloon Person returns with a new wand and 20 more balloons, which he magically adds in groups of five as Snuffy notices he's starting to leave the ground. Once all 40 balloons are attached Snuffy is lifted into the sky. Big Bird asks how the weather is up there, to which the Count responds, "He is the weather up there - he's a cloud in the sky!" |

SCENE cont'd |
"Top of the world, mommy!" Snuffy shouts as he happily tap dances around the other clouds in the sky. He's pleased at first to see birds and other clouds around him, but soon starts to get cold and lonely being all by himself. He finds that everyone and everything he loves is back on Sesame Street and wishes to go back down. |

SCENE cont'd |
The Fairy Balloon Person hears Snuffy's wish to himself and helps him get down by magically popping a few balloons at a time until Snuffy is safely back on land. Snuffy tells his friends that he'd rather be a Snuffleupagus than a cloud any day. The Fairy Balloon Person has to leave as he's getting a call from someone in Mister Rogers' Neighborhood needing a balloon. "I bet it's a beautiful day there," he says as he waves his wand and pops out with everyone saying his magic words. Snuffy decides to be a Birdketeer for now and goes off with Big Bird and the kids, with the Count following so he can count their cheeping. |
