SCENE | At the Mail It Shop, Luis helps Rosita open a package she got from her abuela who lives in Mexico. Inside the package is a homemade beaded bracelet, a letter in Spanish that Luis translates for the viewer, and a photo of Rosita's abuela in the marketplace. Looking at the photo makes Rosita homesick, as she's far away from Mexico and her abuela. |

SCENE cont'd | Big Bird arrives and notices how sad Rosita is as she heads off to look at her photo. Luis explains to Big Bird that Rosita misses Mexico (where she used to live before moving to Sesame Street) and her abuela and wishes that she can see them. Big Bird empathizes with her and suggests they bring stuff from Mexico to Rosita on Sesame Street to cheer her up... only he doesn’t know much about Mexico. |

SCENE cont'd | At that moment, Grover arrives in a mariachi outfit to sing about his favorite country, giving some facts about what they have there; being a globetrotter, Grover surprisingly gives accurate information about Mexico rather than giving wrong information as usual. Three monsters provide back up singing and translate Grover’s facts into Spanish. The monster band splits for a gig in Queens (along with Grover's donkey friend Jack), and with so much information about Mexico, Big Bird knows how to bring the country to Rosita. |

SCENE cont'd | Big Bird calls Rosita over to the yard for their surprise. When Rosita arrives, she sees all the beautiful decorations (including strings of papel picado), a piñata, and big plates of Mexican food that Miles and some kids help place on the table. Big Bird explains his plan to her, and Rosita is so happy that she gives Big Bird and Miles a big hug. |

SCENE cont'd | With the courtyard looking like Mexico, Rosita feels like she's at her old home and can almost hear the Mexican music. She then hears actual music playing, which turns out to be Luis singing the traditional Mexico song "Cielito Lindo" while playing the guitar. Everyone joins in and sings along. |

SCENE cont'd | Rosita is truly surprised and grateful when she realizes what everyone has done for her. To everyone's surprise, Rosita's abuela shows up too! Luis translates what abuela says: she missed Rosita so much that she had to fly on Monster Mexican Airlines to see her. To her abuela’s amazement, she says that Sesame Street looks very much like home because of the decorations, which impresses Big Bird. Rosita is very happy that her abuela is there and she and her friends (including Grover and his band) continue the fiesta together. |
