Merlin is a 3-hour television miniseries produced by Hallmark Entertainment and broadcast on NBC over two nights, April 26th and 27th, 1998. The miniseries retells the famous legend of King Arthur from the perspective of the wizard Merlin. Sam Neill stars in the title role in a story that covers not only the rise and fall of Camelot but also the phase in the legendary history of Britain that precedes it.
Jim Henson's Creature Shop supplied creature effects (specifically foliage, in the form of vines[1] and a CGI dragon).
