Thomas Chastain (January 17, 1921 - September 1, 1994) was an American writer. He was the President of the Mystery Writers of America. Along with Sam Simon, he wrote the teleplay for Season 3's "Black Widower", and Jon Vitti wrote the story. He died on September 1, 1994 at the age of 73.[1]
