The Magic Cake appears in both EarthBound and Mother 3. In EarthBound it is associated with the event in which Poo joins the party, while in Mother 3 it is a PP restoring recovery item.

Usage

EarthBound

After speaking to the Magic Cake vendor in the Stoic Club, she will offer Ness and his friends some Magic Cake near the beach. She bakes a Magic Cake using the last of her ingredients and gives it to the party. After eating it, the party will experience a vision of Poo completing his final training in Dalaam, then upon waking up Poo teleports to the party and joins.

The Magic Cake itself is not obtainable as an item in EarthBound.

Mother 3

One single Magic Cake is found in a present on the laboratory floor of the Empire Porky Building. It replenishes 50 PP when eaten.
