Turkey, officially the Republic of Türkiye, is a Eurasian country that stretches across the Anatolian peninsula in West Asia and East Thrace in the Balkan region of Southeast Europe.

History

In 30 BC, the mystical human lineage known as Homo magi created a hidden retreat in the mountains of Turkey called Hidden City, where the species would not be mixed and absorbed by the Homo sapiens.

The Amazons' original home, Themiscyra, was located on the coast of present-day Turkey. After Hercules attacked it as one of his Twelve Labors, the Amazons abandoned it and moved to Paradise Island, later also known as Themyscira.

The country also holds the ruins of the fabled Troy, which was destroyed by the Greeks during the Trojan War as recounted in Homer's Iliad.
