Potency is a positive status effect in Final Fantasy XI. It increases the rate of critical hits for 60 seconds. It is only available from the temporary item Champion's Drink, which can be obtained during Campaign, Besieged, Nyzul Isle, Salvage, or once every 20 hours if one has the rare Charged headpiece.
Potency is also the name of an attribute for abilities in Final Fantasy XIV.
