The Constitution III class, also known as the Neo-Constitution class, was a Federation starship type that served as an exploration vessel operated by Starfleet during the 24th and 25th centuries. (PIC episode: "The Next Generation")

In the 2410s, the Constitution III class was rated by the Khitomer Alliance as a tier 6 miracle worker cruiser and operated both by the Alliance and Starfleet.

History[]

The class was an evolution of the 23rd century Constitution-class starships. (TOS video game: Fleet Command event: "Legacy, Part 2")

Many of these ships were often built with parts from other ships that had suffered catastrophic damage or were being decommissioned. (Adventures RPG module: Second Edition Core Rulebook)

Ships of the class resembled the 2280s-era Shangri-La-class. (SOTL - Ships of the Line calendar: 2022)

The USS Titan (NCC-1777) was a Shangri-La-class starship.^[3]

The Constitution III-class was launched by Starfleet in the late 24th century. By the year 2401, the USS Titan-A had been refit to the newest specifications of this class, commanded by Captain Liam Shaw. (PIC episode: "The Next Generation")

The Titan-A was launched in 2396. The Kelvin timeline alternate reality was visited by either the Titan, or a parallel reality version of the Titan, sometime around the year 2263 in their frame of reference. (ST video game: Fleet Command event: "Legacy, Part 2")

The Titan-A was renamed into USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-G). In 2402, Seven of Nine served as the ship's captain. (PIC episode: "The Last Generation")

The Khitomer Alliance operated this class as a miracle worker ship and cruiser in the 2410s. The USS Ellis was active in the year 2411. (STO website: Unraveled: Ten Forward Weekly)

The ship was armed with both phaser arrays, Phaser banks, photon torpedo launchers and defended with deflector shields and metaphasic shields. It had powerful warp engines that could reach a maximum of warp 9.99. The Titan-A housed a crew complement of 500. (PIC episode: "The Next Generation")
