The kithara (also known as cithara) was a type of musical instrument originating with the planet Earth's Human civilization, having been popular with Greeks of ancient history.
History and specifics[]
The kithara was similar to a lyre.
In the year 2268, the Platonians gifted a kithara to Spock, but then forced him to play it for them while under their psychokinetic control. (TOS episode: "Plato's Stepchildren")
