The Ooron-class strike cruiser was a type of starship used by the Ferengi Alliance.
The Ooron-class served as strike-cruisers that used their complement of plasma torpedoes to deal devastating damage against planetary shields or starbases with effective results; making these ships deadly in Ferengi fleet operations. Later enhancements improved their weapon and propulsion systems but still lacked sufficient phaser banks for close-quarters combat. (TNG video game: Birth of the Federation)
