The Aquisition class was a type of Ferengi Alliance starship.
Service history and specifications[]
The Acquisition class was created in the 20th century before the Ferengi had access to Warp drive technology. This class of vessels were often retrofitted with newer technologies and by the 2150s they could reach a cruising speed of warp 4.4 and a maximum speed of warp 5.3. They could suffer a loss of nearly half of their warp coils and still travel at warp three and were armed with weak particle beam weapons, though variants with more powerful weapons and shields could be built.
