Description
SCENE 1David is glad to see that the snow has stopped and tells the viewer they're just in time to learn what "next to" means. Through a series of jump-cuts, David stands next to the newsstand, the staircase, and Susan's building. When he finds himself standing in thin air next to the Hooper's Store sign, he begins furiously flapping his arms so as not to fall to the ground.
