Bob agrees to take a look at it and David goes to retrieve it from the Hooper's Store basement.

SCENE 2 cont'd Snuffy becomes tired while waiting for Big Bird and decides to take a nap, draping his snuffle over the fence next to the doors. David returns and he and Bob compare their rug to Snuffy's snuffle, mistaking it for someone else's rolled-up rug. They decide that David's old rug would go better in Bob's apartment. Snuffy sneezes as they leave, causing confusion in the men.

Herry volunteers to provide a large boulder for the game and sings the song, while the others struggle to hold it steady on the crate. After the game, Herry grabs ahold of the rock and casually throws it in the other direction, resulting in a huge crash.

Mr. Macintosh tells him he'll sell him only one thing because the last few times he made a purchase, he counted all the string beans, all the eyes in a bag of potatoes, and every leaf on a head of lettuce. The Count agrees to buy one watermelon and asks if it's fresh. Offended, Mr. Macintosh slices it open to demonstrate its quality and much to his chagrin, the Count begins counting the seeds.
