Finally, Ralphie's line has something heavy on it, which is revealed to be the end of Fluffy's trunk as they were the one giving them clues. Fluffy then tries fishing for Ralphie by playfully pulling his line in. "Sometimes we Grouches do have fun," Oscar comments.

Maria has never heard of a bird sleeping on a mattress, but allows him to have it. She has to do some chores, leaving Olivia to help Big Bird carry it back to his place.

Big Bird, also tired, announces the sponsors and falls asleep before he finishes with the CTW slogan.
