Finally, Ralphie's line has something heavy on it, which is revealed to be the end of Fluffy's trunk as they were the one giving them clues. Fluffy then tries fishing for Ralphie by playfully pulling his line in. "Sometimes we Grouches do have fun," Oscar comments.

Big Bird wonders why she never asked him if he might want it; he may not always want to sleep in a nest after all, and different birds have different beds. Maria has never heard of a bird sleeping on a mattress, but allows him to have it. She has to do some chores, leaving Olivia to help Big Bird carry it back to his place.

Olivia and Big Bird get the mattress back by the stoop and Big Bird heads off to his nest. Maria comes out, complaining that the mattress company won't be delivering her new bed until tomorrow. Olivia (tired from all the moving she's done already) helps Maria again, certain she'll at least get a good night's sleep from the experience. Big Bird, also tired, announces the sponsors and falls asleep before he finishes with the CTW slogan.
