Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Oscar asks Gabi to watch his pet elephant Fluffy while he goes to the annual Grouch convention in Syracuse, saying that Grundgetta is watching the rest of his pets and has no more room for Fluffy. He advises Gabi to feed Fluffy and play hide and seek with her. A helicopter arrives via Grouch Airlines for Oscar and he leaves, grabbing onto the ladder and being hoisted up. Maria, beaming with pride, reminds her daughter to come to her if she needs any help.

In fast-motion, they run all over the street looking for Fluffy, asking a confused Alan, Susan, and a couple of bike-riding kids about the missing pachyderm, not noticing Fluffy's trunk peeking out of Oscar's can.

SCENE 6 Maria and Gabi remain empty-handed when Detective Colambo arrives, having learned the news about a missing elephant and claims he can help. First, he begins asking them random questions (to Maria's annoyance) before getting to questions about the elephant. As Gabi describes Fluffy, Colambo sees a trunk popping out from the trash can. When asked about the elephant's home, Gabi turns around and finds Fluffy! Colambo makes sure that it’s really Fluffy and not an imposter, then leaves to go tell the wife about his success.

He and Fluffy embrace and go back into his trash can, without thanking Gabi of course; Fluffy thanks her with a kiss on the cheek. Gabi asks her mom something important: "Next time, when I want to babysit one of Oscar's pets... talk me out of it!"
