Bob clarifies that it also has to have a hole in it, so David pulls out an inflated bicycle tube. Bob adds an additional caveat: it has to be much smaller than that. David next finds a doughnut in his pocket, but Bob says it has to be smaller still.

Part 2: Our wedding party is much older now, graying and visibly worn. The chapel is also filled with several more round things with holes in them: truck tires, trash can lids, a crown, hulu-hoops, etc. David notes that his wife is still "pretty as a picture" after all these years, and attempts to seal the deal with a motown record.

Part 3: So much time has now passed that the chapel is covered in cobwebs, and everyone's hair has become much grayer (the men sport beards that touch the floor). David, very frail now, is convinced he's finally found the ring, but all he's got is a lifebuoy. Maria, also shaking with age, says that she's had it after 73 years and announces she's leaving him. Affording him one more chance, David finds a wedding band on the floor and places it on Maria's finger. Bob announces the couple married just as they all collapse from geriatric fatigue.
