The Bulwark-class was a type of battleship developed by the Voth species who used them by the early 25th century. (STO website: Designing the Voth Space Combat Experience; STO episode: "Solanae Dyson Sphere")

Overview[]

Such craft were noted for hold extensive defensive capabilities as their creators had focused on their survivability in combat engagements. Their enormous size along with sturdy construction allowed them to be fearsome opponents in battle engagements even when encountered alone. They were highly durable and able to handle a great amount of punishment making them ideal for nearly any combat.^[4] These starships had multiple roles from warships to fleet support vessels thus serving as the primary component of Voth fleets. They also made use of highly advanced technology such as reflective shields that turned enemy attacks back against them and could deploy Aceton Drones that drained energy from enemy vessels.^[5]

The powerful traits of these ships made them a deadly component of the Voth expeditionary forces at the Solanae Dyson Sphere.^[6]
