The VSS Stronghold was a 25th century Voth starship, a tier 6-rated Stronghold-class miracle worker dreadnought cruiser prototype in the Voth's expeditionary force and Khitomer Alliance service in the 2410s decade. Service history[]
The Voth designed the VSS Stronghold as an improvement over the Bulwark-class by reconstructing the hull with a dense material and through the integration of new technologies. This provided the Stronghold with a massive and sturdy body. The prototype was capable of facing armadas. Key technologies and equipment included the enhanced Ward repair ship, a version of the Ward-class repair ship that could return its seemingly defeated mothership to battle. Other auxiliary craft included a single hangar bay with a squadron of Voth heavy fighters. The Asclepius engine was a starship trait inherent to the VSS Stronghold that enabled the ship to temporarily reflect incoming damage onto the attacker. The Stronghold entered service with the Khitomer Alliance in the year 2411, sometime after the Aetherian Concordium's deception of the Alliance had been revealed by the Borg Cooperative. (STO - Kings & Queens mission: "Axiom")
From 2411 onwards, flag officers of the Khitomer Alliance could deploy the Stronghold alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
