In the year 2409, the VSS Maleevus was one of several Bulwark battleships patrolling the area situated between the Industrial Zone, Voth Battlezone, Voth Front and the border to the Voth Zone. (STO - Solanae Dyson Sphere mission: "The Contested Zone")
This ship was among potential targets determined by the Klingon Defense Force to ascertain control over the Contested Zone for the Dyson Joint Command alliance. During engagements with the alliance, the Maleevus engaged in battle alongside a pair of Palisade-class frigates and deployed a Ward-class repair ship to increase its survivability.
