A Bonus Star^[1] is a special item which appears only in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. It is a circular object with a bell insignia in the middle which resembles the Bonus Bell in the Goal Game at the end of a stage. Collecting it is necessary to make a particular section of the goal game wheel to appear. There are three in each stage, each responsible for making a different section of the wheel appear. Each of these three have a slightly different look to them, signifying which section they fill on the wheel.

Bonus Stars can be found at various points in stages, like treasures and CDs. If they are out in the open, Kirby or Prince Fluff will need to touch them to pick them up. If they are behind patches, they will automatically be collected once revealed. Collecting the Bonus Stars is not necessary for 100% completion of the game, but they are useful for obtaining more Beads, which are necessary for that goal.
