This article is about the frog-like enemy found in Kirby's Dream Land 2 and Kirby's Block Ball, and should not be confused with the similar-looking Slippy from several other Kirby games.

Sir Slippy is a bulbous yellow-orange frog-like creature with two feet that resembles Slippy from Kirby's Adventure. It first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land 2, commonly found throughout pools of water, but can also be seen hopping around on land. Its most recent appearance is in Kirby's Block Ball.

Kirby's Dream Land 2[edit]

Kirby and Coo encountering lots of "Sir Slippys" in the water in Kirby's Dream Land 2.

Sir Slippy first appears in Kirby's Dream Land 2 and functions very similarly to that of Slippy from Kirby's Adventure.

Sir Slippy's movements can be hard to predict at times, particularly when it is hopping around on land, making it a moderate threat to Kirby when he enters its territory. Aside from that, however, Sir Slippy has little in the means of defense aside from contact damage, and can be inhaled easily, though it still grants no Copy Ability when swallowed.

Locations[edit]

In Kirby's Dream Land 2, Sir Slippy can be found in the following levels and stages:

Kirby's Block Ball[edit]

Sir Slippy is a common enemy in Kirby's Block Ball. It is worth 600 points when defeated and usually drops a food item.

Its in-game sprite is identical to that of its prior appearance in Kirby's Dream Land 2, but its artwork as seen in the manual is re-colored from Slippy's art from Kirby's Adventure. The 20th Anniversary Kirby Pupupu Encyclopedia lists this character as "Slippy", but the later Kirby Character Encyclopedia confirms that it is Sir Slippy.
