Flappy is a common enemy only found in Kirby Air Ride. It is a multicolored, half-bird half-pterosaur creature.
Kirby obtains the Wing ability when swallowing Flappy.

Kirby Air Ride[edit]
In Kirby Air Ride, Flappys do not attack Kirby directly, but do follow him wherever he goes, and can harm Kirby if the two come in contact. Flappys normally appear in random places, usually in Air Ride courses; preferably Beanstalk Park.

Kirby's Dream Buffet[edit]
In Kirby's Dream Buffet, Flappy is depicted on a Character Treat, using its artwork from Kirby Air Ride.
Other appearances[edit]
Prior to the game's cancellation, Flappy was planned to appear in the Kirby for Nintendo GameCube game as an enemy and a Helper. It appeared in the game's E3 2005 trailer, where it was seen defeating Whispy Woods alongside Kirby, Parasol Waddle Dee and an unnamed, bomb-wielding Helper. A screenshot released by Nintendo of Europe additionally shows Kirby riding a Flappy.
