Lanzer[1] is a reoccurring enemy which grants Kirby the Spear Copy Ability when swallowed. The enemy, which debuted in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, wields a trident and sports an iridescent purple helmet. Lanzer bears a resemblance to certain other knights in the Kirby series, namely Trident Knight and Sir Kibble. This is apparent given Lanzer's spherical build and comparatively large feet. Unlike Trident Knight, however, Lanzer does not toss its trident when attacking. Nonetheless, it has excellent range when jabbing, so it should be treated with the utmost caution when faced.
