Chip is a common round fuzzy enemy that appears in a select number of Kirby games. It is a bouncy, limbless, round creature with yellow fur, two large round black eyes, a cheery expression, and a white-tipped tail resembling that of a red fox.
Chip moves by jumping around, periodically hesitating on the ground for a short while in-between each bound. It attacks via collision, harming both Kirby and itself in the process. Chip does not have much health, is vulnerable to all attacks and does not give a Copy Ability when swallowed. However, Chip tends to be found in large groups with other members of its kin, making them somewhat more threatening than enemies which go solo.

Chip returns in its first 3D appearance in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. It attacks by tackling Kirby, and will often jump between the foreground and background to do so.

Chip returns in Kirby Star Allies, behaving much as it did in Kirby: Planet Robobot. This marks its first appearance on a home console game outside of Virtual Console.
