Batafire is a mid-boss introduced in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. Corresponding to it being made of fire, Batafire yields the Burning Copy Ability which is available via engulfment upon defeat.

Characteristics[edit]

Looking more like a blazing fireball, Batafire has a bat-like head with small black eyes and an open mouth with a red tongue. The tips of its ears are red and the body is a conflagration of red, orange, yellow and white fire with large wings to support its flight while in midair.

Game appearances[edit]

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror[edit]

Never once touching the ground unless defeated, Batafire flies around the battle stage and charges at Kirby in hopes to harm him. Afterwards, Batafire folds its wings in to charge then suddenly unfolds them and shoots about eight fireballs on both its sides to deal damage.

Batafire may be found in the following rooms:

Kirby Air Riders[edit]

In Kirby Air Riders, Batafire appears in Road Trip as a crossroads obstacle at Mt. Daylight Pass. It appears beforehand to harass the rider by spitting fireballs at them while driving away from one of Mt. Daylight Pass' Rest Stops. Upon reaching the crossroads, it is shown to have caused many fires which prevent any further progress, though this is countered with one of two helpers:

A License Card sticker of Batafire can also be obtained through Road Trip by completing the Checklist objective "Glide for 7 sec. without landing during an Air Ride challenge".
