| “ | Dive quickly by Boosting. Aim for a high score! | ” | — Skydive Stadium description in Kirby Air Riders |
Skydive is a type of Stadium in Kirby Air Riders, having a chance to appear at the end of City Trial on default settings. It tasks riders with diving downwards, trying to score as many points as possible along the way.
Overview[edit]

Skydive Stadiums take place in a transparent cylinder, with a short starting point that is 3,500 meters (4,920 yards) above the bottom surface. Between the bottom surface and the starting point, there are many rings hovering in midair, along with obstacles and hazards the riders should avoid. When falling, the rider can Boost to dive faster.
Passing through rings gives the riders points. There are four types of rings: the blue rings are worth 50 points, the green rings are worth 100 points, the yellow rings are worth 200 points, and the purple rings are worth 500 points. Any rings that are passed through will disappear.
Riders will also need to watch out for rotating blades that can push them around, and hazards such as laser beams, fireballs, and electric fields. Making contact with laser beams or fireballs will cause machines to take damage, while electric fields will instantly KO any rider that makes contact.
At the bottom of the area, there are various panels with numbers on them. Just like with the airborne rings, these give riders points when landed on: the types of panels are 50-point panels (blue), 200-point panels (yellow), 300-point panels (orange), 500-point panels (purple), 800-point panels (red), and 1,000-point panels (rainbow). Once a rider lands on a panel, that panel will become a dull color: any other riders who land on that panel will not receive any points, similar to the Target Flight Stadiums. If a rider lands on something that is not a numbered panel, they will receive no points. If they do not land on any panel and/or fall into the bottomless pit below (only in Skydive 2), they will be dropped on top of a panel and also recieve no points: in the case of Road Trip, a rider will fail the challenge regardless of any current score.
Riders are tasked with getting to the bottom of the area within one minute and, when a rider lands on something within that time, additional points are given to them as a Time Bonus. The Time Bonus counter begins at 1,000, and decreases by one every 0.06 seconds.
